There were long pieces of the rows of G-90 corn that did not come up or more likely were missed by the planter in the first rows I ever planted. There were also a few gaps in the Silver King Corn. I loosened the soil and planted new seeds about 12″ apart.
One of the cantaloupe hills did not germinate so I replanted it.
One of the yellow squash hills did not live so it was replanted. The north part of the yellow squash row next to the cucumbers–that Mary said needed to be empty for the cucumbers–was also planted with the remaining yellow squash seeds.
Watered the seeds in on the west side of the garden. In late afternoon an easy rain watered them again.
