4/13/2021 – Used the 4-tine hoe to loosen the crusted soil around the tomatoes and then spread pecan wood ash from the fireplace. Then used the hoe to scratch the ash into the loosened soil.
The ash is supposed to be high in calcium as well as contain other micro-nutrients. The calcium should help reduce the likelihood of blossom end root.
Maybe 20% of the plants have blooms.
