Planted PEPH Suspect Seed

4/4/2020 – In the north half’s 9th row, where the Silver Queen Corn did not germinate, we tilled the soil and planted two rows 12″ apart of the PEPH seeds bought in January that is suspected to be last year’s seed and old.

Planted them with the brand new HOSS seeder using plate 5 and 3/4″ deep.

4/11/2020 – Looks like we have a good stand that will likely make great vines as they will enjoy the 15-0-15 spread for the corn.

6/22/2020 – They have a good crop of peas that have uniform pods shelled great when picked at the pinkish purple stage.
