Mowing the Pastures and Clearing the Lane

12/29/2018 – Justin and Ted have been mowing the north pastures with a John Deere with a high cab that had trouble getting down the lane with all the limbs hanging over. Today, Justin was cutting the limbs with a pole saw and I joined him. We cut it clean between the fences and high as he could reach with the pole saw while standing on the bushhog. He pushed the limbs into a tight pile just inside the creek field.

After lunch, I sprayed all the stumps and trunk nubs with Remedy. I also sprayed all the small Yaupon and oaks on both sides of the lane and along the south side of the creek field down to the neighbor’s yard.
