Basil & Cilantro Seedlings in the Herb Bed

Gardening

Today, 1/23/2019, a very warm day in the 70’s for late February–Mary planted in the herb bed basil and cilantro seedlings we grew from Burpee’s seeds. The packages called them “Sweet Basil” and “Common Cilantro”.

The dense row of small green plants is lettuce that came up from seed planted directly into the bed. There is thyme near the far end and a very healthy dill plant near the house end of the bed. You can also see a rosemary plant near the corner of the brick wall on the driveway end of this view.
