6/14/2021 – Mary’s daylily seedlings grown from seeds from our plants have become too large for the 3″ pots and were re-planted along the southwest edge of the Grain Bin. The plants were very healthy and had roots circling the base. As all daylilies at that location will be from seeds it will be fun to watch and see how they bloom.
Some of them are too far east around the bin and will not get enough sun time to bloom well. We will move them once they have grown-and we find a place.
We moved the Rain Lilies (bought years ago at a Mobile Botanical Garden sale) to the border on either side of the driveway gate in front of the climbing pink roses. They have multiplied 3-4 times since we put them next to the grain bin.
