10/5/2019 – We let the cayennes turn red and today picked them from one bush. Also, picked the bell peppers that seem to always be small when they begin to turn red. The banana peppers are smaller than a few weeks ago before they turn orange.
We have picked about twice this many red Hot Hungarian Peppers and they have almost finished sun drying.
These bananas will be combined with a gallon bag of more collected over the past week or so. Will use them to make more fermented pepperocini.
Likely the slow down in production and size is due to the 5-week drought and mid-90 degree days.
